British Wadokai Yudan Shinsa Course.
Open to all BWK Members & Associates, although
compulsory for all British Wadokai Brown and Black-belts. This course is dedicated those who
wish to have a better understanding, and train through, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Dan Grade Syllabus of the
British Wadokai Black-belt Practical Examination. Also, implications of the Written Examination will be
advised and explained.
Instructor: Gary E Swift (7th Dan) Kyoshi.
Time: 10am-2pm.
Price: £15 (BWK Licensed Members).

British Wadokai Written Examination for all Yudan Applicants who are intending to participate in the British Wadokai Southern Region Yudan Shinsa on 26/09/10.

to grade, or Yudansha who wish to retain their grading privileges. Includes standardisation of
all British Wadokai Tai-sabaki of Idori-no-kata (kneeling defences), Tantodori-no-kata (knife
defences), and Mutodori-no-kata (sword defences).

Traditional British Wadokai Inter-Club Kumite & Kata Championships. Applications MUST be
in BEFORE: 14/11/10 – NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.
Venue: Tanbridge School, Guildford Road, Horsham, West Sussex.
Book-in: With Licence
(for EKF Member Chit Number inspection), 9.30am. Eliminations: 10am. Categories for all ages
and levels.
Due to location, it may be advised to bring a packed-lunch/refreshments etc.
Correct
Dress Code: Competitors must wear clean white Gi and official Bogu. Judges must wear
blazer, white shirt/tie, black trousers and soft footwear (no shoes), etc. Only British Wadokai Official/Certified Judges/Referees will be in attendance.
We have the pleasure of Sports Therapist, Gordon Hoare (5th Dan) Renshi, who is fully qualified in
Sports Injury/Massage, will be in attendance. He will be available to treat ‘anyone’ with any injuries or
on-going problems related to Sport or other Physical Injury (he will also be available for Private
Consultation, if required).
