My sister Malika now trains with us which is nice. Why do you think Training with Sensei Gary Swift 8th Dan Kyoshi is such an important part of your training? I think it helps me to try and perfect my pair work and kata, it gives me the opportunity to train with other students from around Britain and abroad and that we all train the same way and that's why it's important for me to go on as many of Sensei Swift's courses as possible. How long have you been training? One and a half years. How many sessions do you do a week? School work permitting, I try to do 3 sessions a week. It is also very important to train in my own time. What's your favourite technique? Nidan-geri jodan What's your favourite kata? Ku-Shanku What your favourite food? Mum's special pasta! What's your favourite Film? Summary on Denzil: Denzil is a lovely lad who's attendance and dojo etiquette is second to none. He works very hard when in the dojo and also trains at home. His Mum and Dad are so supportive of Denzil and his sister which helps him greatly. I strongly feel if he continues his journey in Karate he will go all the way to the top. Mick Adams Renshi |
