British Wadokai Karate-do Federation follow the Kyu grade syllabus, as introduced into the UK and Europe, by Suzuki Tatsuo 8th Dan Hanshi in 1964 and the Yudan grade syllabus as introduced by Gary E Swift 7th Dan Kyoshi in 1982.
